Sample work for MPD Department Prize in Immersive Media
Syracuse to South Africa
My first sample is unedited footage from the Syracuse to South Africa project where I worked with on a team of photographers, videographers, audio designers, and writers to produce stories about community in Grahamstown, South Africa. This video is part of a story about faith in Grahamstown where we visited three different services.
Below is a presentation of the design of Viewing (formerly named Mygration). I'm working on a team of 11 to design, develop, and test an augmented reality application that assists migrants in learning the language and culture of where they have settled. This presentation was done during the Pixels & Print Design Workshop in February but we've been working on the project in our Immersive Design course before and after the workshop. I designed the wireframes for the application and have since designed and developed the user registration and signup modules, as well as iterated on the design for how users can access objects they've saved for later.
